She tried to become a modeling agent in Tokyo, but she was offered to try to become a model. Her career includes working with many labels and brands in various advertising campaigns.
Fukushima also starred in the 2013 film The Wolverine as Yukio, di 2014 appeared in the movie Gunshi Kanbei as Omichi, and replaced actress Devon Aoki as Tatsu Yamashiro in the third season of The CW television series Arrow’.
