Her career began with her appearance in 1978 in the TV movie How to Pick Up Girls. In 1979 she played the role of a dancer in Bob Fosse’s film All That Jazz, and in 1980 she played the role of a Muse in the film Xanadu during the performance of the song I’m Alive by Electric Light Orchestra.
Her most famous work was the role in the film Conan the Barbarian with Arnold Schwarzenegger, for which she received the Golden Globe Award in 1983 in the category New Star of the Year and The Saturn Award in the category Best actress.
