Perkins was born and raised in New Baltimore, Μίσιγκαν, and graduated with a bachelor’s degree from the University of Western Michigan in 1995. She was on the theatrical stage, and than she moved to TV, where she appeared as a guest in over thirty shows such as C.S.I., Without a Trace, How I Met Your Mother, Nip/Tuck, Ανατομία του Gray, and Castle.
