Elle Fanning gets into costume as Michelle Carter for Hulu’s new scripted series about the Michelle Carter texting suicide case on Tuesday.
In The Girl From Plainville, Fanning will play Carter, the teen convicted in the 2014 death of her boyfriend Conrad Roy III. She will also serve as an executive producer.
The new series will explore Carter’s relationship with Roy, the events that led to his death, et ensuite, her highly-publicized trial.
